I can’t quite remember when I stopped watching The Simpsons, but it was probably after the first ten seasons.
The newer episodes come off sarcastic and thin on imagination and they just don’t feel like The Simpsons to me anymore.
Anyways, one of the best holiday episodes is this one where Bart attempts to steal a video game at a local store. He gets caught, but is let off on the promise that he is never to return to the store.
Bart of course eventually gets found out after a family outing to the store. That is when Marge decides to treat Bart like an adult which Bart isn’t quite ready for.
My favorite part of the episode has to be when Bart asks for marshmallows in his hot chocolate, but the marshmallow sucks up the hot chocolate like a sponge. Bart is then reduced to slicing his congealed hot chocolate and eating it with a knife and fork.
