Blogmas Day 15: The Santa Clause (1994)

From the small screen to the big screen, this was one of Tim Allen’s earliest movie successes.

I haven’t seen the first movie of The Santa Clause series in a while, but I do remember being pleasantly surprised at how good it was at capturing the holiday spirit.

Tim Allen plays a high flying salesman named Scott who tries to entertain his son (who he shares with his ex-wife) on Christmas Eve.

Later that evening, he inadvertently interrupts Santa on his delivery and Santa unfortunately meets his demise in a freak chimney accident.

Since Scott was the last one to see Santa and he wore his suit, he then takes over the duties of Santa as per The Santa Clause.
